Part of him had been hoping - rather strongly - he had jumped to the wrong conclusion, but Fuu's reaction is making him think that he's onto something. However, while it's not an idea he likes, he's also not about to sit around and do nothing. He's not afraid of the man, murderer or not.

Taking a breath, he straightens, a determined look appearing on his face. "All the more reason we need to find who it is." Turning slightly, he reaches over to place a hand over Fuu's reassuringly. "Don't worry, Fuu. I'll not let him harm ye again."
