He made sure the horse had stopped moving, more out of caution that it'd suddenly buck him off than anything, and shook his head. "Nope!" he said, easily swinging his leg over the horse's back and leapt down to the ground. "Thanks though."
His cheery demeanour didn't last long, however. He glanced over his shoulder, eyeing the zombies heading their way. "All right, get in! We can do introductions and such later!" He walked in front of the fiery horse, resting a reassuring hand on its head. "I promise you'll be safe. Nothing will harm you in there. Either of you," he added, giving the young woman a warm look.
