At that, Fuu laughed. An unusual, out-right laugh like she hadn't had since coming here. Having someone else like this from Japan was absolutely delightful.

Thankfully they came before the Sheriff's office before she could keep rambling on that topic.

Realizing she'd been speaking aloud again she apologised. "Anyways. The Sheriff and his deputies are working pretty hard on the case. Just before you came Sheriff Issus told us to come for an interview about the murders." She shared with him about that, how the CATs were dated wrong (and offered to fix his), and about her contacting the Mayor about the 'new resident program.'
