Kamina had avoided almost all contact so far by going out at night. It was more peaceful then, and it had given him time to get his thoughts in order and to rage at the sky if the need arose.

As such, morning was his time to catch some shut eye.

He felt as if he'd only just now settled into a nice dream about all the mole-pig steaks he could eat when a loud chime sounded. All of the steaks disappeared in little puffs of pink smoke before his incredulous eyes. Next, the room itself disappeared, leaving Kamina free falling toward the desert sands.

Kamina opened his eyes, scowling.

Now that the dream was gone, he recognized the sound and crossed to the door, flinging it open without a word.

Who the hell had woken him up?

"Oi." It was a kid. "This isn't your room."

This was obviously his. And he wasn't due to wake up for another five hours. Now that he was awake, there was no way his manly spirit would allow him to go back to bed and miss any more of the day, but that was beyond his point.
