❀ Two Adventures in Two Days [backdated]
Characters: Rapunzel, open to anyone wishing to join!
Location: Luministi Greens West, near A12
Time: Backdated ALL DAY ERRYDAY... say, August 9th thereabouts? With the possibility of retconning. ._.
Summary: Corona and then Luministi? This was an adventure Rapunzel didn't know she was about to take. She reacts accordingly--by freaking out.
Warnings: None
It was all very strange--first she'd been in the kingdom of Corona with Eugene, watching the lanterns lighting up the night sky. It had been everything she'd dared dream, and she'd thought that maybe she'd even been about to receive her first kiss!
So why was she waking up here? Rapunzel looked around the bedroom she'd found herself in, taking in her surroundings. She hadn't been expecting to suddenly wake up somewhere else, and this time...
"Where am I?"
This time she wasn't even sure where she'd woken up. All at once, her mind was flooded with the horror stories her mother had told her--maybe she'd been kidnapped! Something had happened while they were watching the lanterns, and now she'd been captured and brought here. Had they wanted her for her hair? Rapunzel gasped, reaching up to feel her hair. All in its braid, as far as she could tell. She pulled the braid around--still blonde. At least that much was a relief.
"Hello and good morning!"
Rapunzel leapt what felt like a foot in the air in terror, the smallest of shrieks escaping her. At once she slid over the side of the bed, cowering behind it as she stared at the man that had just suddenly appeared, beaming at her from beside the bed.
But he continued to talk regardless, and as he kept on, Rapunzel began to realize that maybe he wasn't actually there. Growing braver, she stood up, rounding the end of the bed to watch him (though she still wasn't getting that close to him, just in case). "...and again, welcome to Luministi!" he eventually finished, and disappeared from the screen.
Rapunzel couldn't help but take a step forward, reaching out for the mysterious man. "Wait!" she cried, even though he was already gone. "But where is Luministi?" It hadn't been in any of the atlases she and Eugene had looked at during the festival...
Wait. Rapunzel twisted around anew, observing the room with a fresh eye. Where was Eugene? He'd been with her--had they gotten to him, too? A wave of panic swept over her: first, she was in some town she'd never heard of. She'd possibly been kidnapped by the sorts of bad people her mother had always warned her of, and to top it all off, Eugene was nowhere to be found.
"Eugene?"
She bolted out of the room, glancing around her for anything that might be helpful. There was a kitchen visible through a doorway. Rapunzel hurried in, rummaging around and--she almost sighed with relief as she caught sight of it. Her fingers wrapped around the handle of a cast-iron frying pan; she lifted it up to test the weight. A touch lighter than her own at home, but she would be able to handle it fine, and just having something to defend herself with made her feel slightly more at-ease.
Properly equipped, she was ready to head out. Rapunzel headed to the door, peering out for anything that might be awaiting her before opening it and stepping out onto the front porch.
"This... what is this place?"
It was so different from anything she'd ever seen before!
[ooc: And after that gigantic wall of tl;dring... Rapunzel will be in the western greens, wandering about, but will soon decide that she needs to go on the hunt to find Flynn, if he's there. So feel free to run into her anywhere in the greens or in the town!]

no subject
Whatever his plans are, they don't seem to include running into a lassie brandishing a frying pan. As he happens to look up and spot Rapunzel, he visibly stops in his tracks, trying not to look too guilty at being caught.
"Er, hello."
no subject
But then he catches sight of her, and Rapunzel feels she's on the spot just as much as he does. "Oh, hiii..." she says, the frying pan disappearing as she clasps her hands behind her back. What does she do? Who is he? Is he one of the people that brought her here? He isn't acting like a kidnapper... and it's not even like she can just ask him; even she knows that's a terrible idea.
Her eyes land on the pot. "Is everything all right?"
no subject
Or, more accurately, him not paying attention while he was cooking. Serves him right, really, but the lassie doesn't really need to know that. He doesn't recall seeing her here before, and she'll already have enough to try and sort through as it is.
"I thought I might, er, leave the pot outside for a bit. Get rid of the scorched smell." His eyes dart over to where she's placed her hands, and he blinks a little as he catches sight of the braid. Something about that seems...somewhat familiar. Whatever it is, though, it's not coming to him, and he re-focuses, giving her a questioning look instead.
"Ah...is everything all right with ye, lass?"
