Characters: Dave, Hawk
Location: The park
Time: A couple of days after the snow stops
Summary: Sundial investigation, and criminals ahoy.
Warnings: Violence, possibly blood/gore, possibly also swearing
Whatever changes the rest of Luministi had gone through, the park seemed reasonably unaffected. Maybe a little waterlogged, considering recent conditions, but he couldn't hope for the best conditions all of the time. And considering the message⦠it didn't quite seem clear, but Hawk suspected it would, and probably at the worst moment for it. Better to try to be prepared. Besides, maybe a show of what he did as practice would make some people think twice about starting something, if they were that way inclined, and this part of the park gave Hawk a good line of sight on anyone approaching.

What Bro taught him did him a service right up until he got to the park. He cursed as the guy he was pursuing stopped long enough to angle himself and raced into the park. It gave him time to gain on the guy but, not enough time. Damn it.

My notifs need to stop being lost.
"Sweet catch man, I've been chasing this dick since he tried to rob an old lady. You don't mug old people. That's like kicking at tree. It can't kick back...most of the time." He hadn't forgotten what Jade said about her old man. And Bro even though he was middle aged or so, kicked more ass than a young kid any damn day.
They need a lesson in map-reading.
Hawk nodded, gave the thief a look over, considering, and tsked. "I can't imagine what you thought you'd get out of that exchange." Some old people did hang onto artifacts, items from their youth or heirlooms from family, but he considered that rather unlikely here. He took firm hold of the thief's elbow, and looked at Dave. "I suppose we should take him to the sherrif's office- assuming it's not too crowded, at least."
Man no lie.

As they started off, he looked over at Dave again. "So how fast are you, usually?"
